Jenn Greenleaf is a writer, author, mixed-media artist, mother, stepmother, independent consultant, small town politician, wife and money saver! See? She’s a wearer of MANY hats, and this biography just sketches over some of them.
Her writing career began when she learned she was pregnant with her first child in 1999. Jenn always knew she wanted to be a writer, but it was not until this point that she decided to take that first step toward publication. Her first writing gig was landed in November, exactly one month prior to her first child’s birth.

Jenn’s been an artist for as long as she can remember, but didn’t start actively working in the marketplace until 1993 (soon after graduating from high school). The first show she was ever part of, which was juried, occurred at Lewiston-Auburn College the summer of 1993. That show, along with constant encouragement from her favorite art teacher (Robert Drewal), prompted further exploration in this career decision. You can find her work on etsy.com, as well as in various shows throughout Maine (all of which will be featured in the Artist Jenn tab of this blog). She has also taught art classes at Harlow Gallery, Montello School, Lewiston High School (through Lewiston Adult Education) and Dresden Elementary School.

This biography is still a work in progress . . . more to come!
